Medulin is one of six picturesque towns in the Medulin Riviera on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula and in the summer becomes a tourist destination for many vacationers. Medulin Resort is located just 10 km from the famous city of Pula and is situated in rugged and shallow Medulin Bay. There are many offers of accommodation, hotels, apartments and private accommodation and camps, including naturist.

History and monuments

The area around the site of Medulin was already inhabited in prehistoric times, and remains of dry wall buildings have been preserved to this day. Roman country estates (villa rustica) on the Vižula peninsula were also located in the area.
Parish Church of St. St. Agnes (county church of St. Agnes) with a valuable processional silver-plated cross from the 15th century.

The remains of ancient gravestones are located on the Vižula peninsula. The ruins of a pre-Romanesque church have been preserved in the Bay of Bijeca.

Swimming and beach Medulin

Medulin is special for its large shallow bay with many nooks and crannies.

The sandy beach of Bijeca is a kilometer long and is especially suitable for families with small children

Holiday resort Medulin offers a wide range of sporting activities that visitors can imagine: windurfing, water skiing, scuba diving, sport fishing, several football pitches, tennis courts, volleyball, beach volleyball, miniature golf, bowling and petanque. There are bike rentals and bike, boat with motor. You can try hang gliding. For an active athlete is appealing route for cross country and some cycling trails.

Cultural events and evening life

In Medulin, guests will enjoy a lot of entertainment and nightlife at many discos, especially the famous Aquarius club with a disco and live music.

In July, a celebration is held on the feast of St. Apostle James (Day of St. James the Apostle), who is the patron saint of Medulin, and a rich program is held.
Music concerts are held here during the summer.
