Excursion River Zrmanja kayaking
Start your Zrmanja Kayaking River trip in the village of Kastel Zegarski. Where you will find intact nature, clear waters, and a bounty of flora and fauna. Therefore it makes River Zrmanja one of the most beautiful Croatian and European rivers. So, kayaking the Zrmanja River, down its rapids and falls will be both fun and memorable experience. The kayaking Zrmanja River trip is so safe even children as old as 6 can participate. But, even if you are an experienced kayaker, you will enjoy the unique scenery of this remote area. Also, towards the end of the trip, there is a 3 m (10 ft) cliff, perfect for jumping into the river. Furthermore, to make this trip even more magnificent we added another hidden gem – the Krupa River.
Whether it is your first time holding a paddle or you are experienced in kayaking, you will equally enjoy going down the Zrmanja and Krupa. As mentioned above, the Zrmanja Kayaking Croatia River trip begins in the little village of Kastel Zegarski. Which is situated 1 h drive from Zadar, 1h 20 minutes drive from Sibenik and 2 h drive from Split. On the first part of our trip, the Zrmanja River is calmer, so you will have time to practice your steering and paddling skills. The second part of this trip is set on the Krupa River where you enjoy swimming and (self-brought) lunch break. Kayaking ends in the village of Muskovci and we transfer you back to the starting point where our trip ends.
Itinerary:
09:45 – Meeting at the starting point – Kastel Zegarski
09:50 – Trip leader briefing: safety instruction and trip description.
10:00– Start of the kayaking.
12:00 – Swimming and jumping at the big waterfall.
13:00 – Continue kayaking.
14:30 – End of the kayaking and transfer back to Kastel Zegarski.
15:30 – Departure.
Min 2 – max 30 people per group. Larger groups are on request. Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund. In case the minimum number of participants is not met but the guest/s still want to do the trip, the price increases by a percentage depending on the final number of participants. Minimum age: 6 years if accompanied by a parent or adult
To bring with you: shorts or swimsuit and hat, T-shirt and sandals (or sneakers), towel, sunscreen, water and snack (optional)
Equipment we use: Inflatable kayak for two people. The rowing skill required for this activity is easily acquired. You will receive a helmet and a vest, and in case of colder weather a neoprene suit. Waterproof barrels are also available to keep things from getting wet.
The kayaking season runs approximately from: June 15 - September 30

The price does not include: incoming and outgoing transport by bus or van from the Zadar-Šibenik area, lunch or picnic.
The discount for children is valid for children from 6 to 12 years accompanied by an adult
