Vrsi

Vrsi is a picturesque town located in northern Dalmatia near the town Nin (6 km) and the city center is a few hundred meters from the sea. Vrsi is a quiet destination with a very warm and crystal clear sea. It is ideal for anyone who wants to spend holiday in the middle of untouched nature and nice beaches without the crowds.
Vrsi is on a rugged peninsula so there is a lot of beautiful beaches. It is protected by location in one of the bays so thre is warm sea which is a few degrees warmer than the sea in nearby resorts.
Vrsi is divided into several parts, two main parts - Zukve and Mulo is located near the old center on a hill right by the sea. Zukve is located on the eastern side. There are also two beaches, one is sandy with a gradual entry into the sea, the other is made from small pebbles. Mulo is located on the north side of the bay and there is the beach with pebbles and gradual entry into the sea.
On the west from Vrsi lies about 2 kilometers long pinewood, which is suitable especially for nudists and lovers of solitude. Entry into the sea is rocky, but after a few meters already beginning sandy bottom with crystal clear water.
Around the town there are other smaller rocky coves ideal for swimming and from which is a magnificent view of the Velebit mountain range. About 20 km from Vrsi is the city Zadar. To Zadar you can go by local bus service. Another locality great for a visit is the famous tourist town Zaton about 9 km away.
