TUCEPI, a village in the Makarska Riviera, 4 km southeast of Makarska. Farming and tourism are the economic basis. On the main road (M2, E65). The marina is protected from the wind by an external breakwater, with an operational coast 40 m long. Settled in ancient times. In the cemetery, fragments of the furniture of the early Christian church from V.-VI were discovered. and several medieval tombstones. The settlement is mentioned under the present name in 1434. The Church of St. George was built in the transitional Romanesque - Gothic style at the end of XIII. In the XVIII. of the Makarska family Ivanisevic and Lucic-Pavlovic built baroque villas by the sea; Abbot Grubisic's mansion is today the Kastelet Hotel. In the hamlet Pašalići the renaissance church of Sv. St. Michael and St. Kate.
