History and monuments

If you are interested in ancient cities, their architecture and atmosphere, visit the wonderful resort of Šibenik with its many monuments and its landmark, the Cathedral of St. Jacob, the most important Renaissance monument in Croatia. The princely palace stands in the immediate vicinity of the cathedral, today it houses an archaeological, ethnographic and cultural-historical museum. Šibenik City Hall is one of the most beautiful city halls in Croatia. You must not forget to visit the resorts of Split (the Roman emperor Diocletian had a palace built in which he wanted to live out his old age. He gave Split a building whose architecture, to this day, for a full 1700 years, always excites visitors) and Trogir and Primošten, where you can find a lot of valuable historical sights. Rogoznica - the first mentions date back to 1518. The remains of the fortress and the windmill on the upper part of the islet are visible. The parish church dates from 1615, and the medieval church of St. Nicholas in old Rogoznica.

Swimming and beach Stupin Celine

The coast of the Stupin Čeline resort is very rugged and the sea is very warm. The beautiful beaches with exceptionally clean water are rocky with concrete jetties, but also very gradual coarse sand with pebbles, suitable especially for small children and adults. There are slides and floating piers for jumping all year round. There is an indented coastline with beaches all around Rogoznica. Beautiful beaches on the open sea can be found in nearby Primošten.

Sports offer

The Šibenik Riviera offers many interesting excursion destinations not only to the Krka and Kornati National Parks, but also to the important ornithological sites of the Vranské Jezero Nature Park. You can go on boat trips from Šibenik and Rogoznica (in season) and in the vicinity of Stupin Čeline there are many opportunities for water sports and fishing, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, diving in the Kornati region, canoeing in the rapids of the Cetina River , rafting on the Cetina and Zrmanja rivers. We suggest that you visit nearby Skradin, rent a bicycle from the local rent-a-bike rental company and ride it around. For visitors who want real adventure and a bigger dose of adrenaline, there is "bungee jumping" - jumping on a rope from Šibenik Bridge.
