Lokva Rogoznica

The small town Lokva Rogoznica is located under the Biokovo hill, on the Adriatic highway in the direction of Makarska 9 km from Omis. The beaches in and around the town are pebbly, sandy and sometimes even suitable for children. In addition to the sea and beautiful swimming pools in a city rich in pine trees, you can always find a pleasant shade. Near the private apartments and houses there is a post office, a shop and a restaurant.
The festivities at Lokva Rogoznica are known for the "Fishermen's Evenings", which take place in August every year. The proximity of Makarska and Omis gives visitors nightlife at one of the many nightclubs and bars. You can also practice a variety of activities, visit a nearby picnic area and get acquainted with the historical heritage of this beautiful area. There are also beautiful harbor and salt lake Dragon Eye. On the lighthouse is a pleasant swim in the open sea.
For hikers, we recommend a trip not only on the springs of the river Cetina with a boat on a raft through the canyon, but also on Sveti Vit, where you can see the open sea behind to the island of Brac. It is a beautiful sunset over the sea and only the crickets and small nightlife are disturbed.
