Drvenik
Croatia, Central Dalmatia
Drvenik is a pleasant summer resort located on the Makarska Riviera about 30 km southeast of Makarska and about 20 km northwest of Gradac. Drvenik is divided into two parts - Gornja Vala (Gornja uvala) is smaller and quieter than Donja Vala (Donja uvala) and is a short walk along the coast. Both pebble coves have wide beaches with moderate water entry, so they are suitable for families with children.
There is a ferry dock in Drvenik that sails to the island of Hvar to the village of Sucuraj.
