Jelsa on the island of Hvar can be reached by ferry from Split to the port of Stari Grad, which has international connections with Italy. The distance between the cities Stari Grad and Jelsa is about 10 km. Or it is possible to use the ferry line from Drvenik to Sućuraj on the island of Hvar, the ride takes about 35 minutes, while the ride on the route Stari Grad - Split about 120 minutes. Sucuraj is about 50 km from Jelsa.
If you travel without a car, it is possible to use the catamaran line Split - Bol (island of Brac) - Jelsa (island of Hvar) - transport takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
