The lower part is perfect for a sea kayaking trip through the mouth of the river. The crystal clear water and stunning scenery make for an unforgettable experience. As you paddle down the river, you’ll pass by towering cliffs and lush greenery, with the occasional glimpse of local wildlife. At about the halfway mark you’ll go through a part of the river called “Pariževačka glavica” also know as “Pueblo plato” where the famous Winnetou was filmed. The river’s currents are mild, making it easy for beginners to navigate, but still challenging enough for experienced kayakers.
As you make your way downstream, the river widens, and you’ll find yourself in the mouth of the Zrmanja River to the Novigrad Sea. The sea kayaking trip can be tailored to your skill level and interests.
With a sea kayaking trip down the Zrmanja River, you’ll experience the best of Croatia’s natural beauty and culture, making it a must-do for any outdoor enthusiast.
