Accommodation Fontana Resort Jelsa
The Fontana resort Jelsa is located on a wooded slope near the sea and the historic center of Jelsa (about 500 m). The whole Fontana Resort Jelsa consists of several pavilions with apartments and rooms and has a total of 346 accommodation units of different categories, which offer a pleasant holiday.
In the main building there is a restaurant, swimming pools and a gym. The reception is common to the whole resort, and is located on top of a hill near the main road. Hotel rooms with half board service is a simpler type of accommodation, located in the pavilions on the hill above the main building, access by stairs.
Guests have free access to the fitness center and 2 outdoor seawater pools (1 for children). Free sun loungers by the pool are also available. The pool bar offers a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea, and guests can watch the children in the pool at the same time.
Free WiFi is available throughout the property.
Food: accommodation in hotel-type rooms with half board, buffet breakfast and buffet dinner.
Facilities: Guests by the pools and fitness room, can use tennis courts (extra charge), conference room, bicycle rental, storage and service (extra charge), private safe at the reception (free of charge), laundry service (extra charge), parking extra charge), baby cot (extra charge on the spot) - if you use a baby cot, count on a smaller space in the room.
Animation for children will be in about the 7th and 8th month.
Beaches: natural rocky and pebble beaches
about 150 m from the pavilion buildings there are natural rocky beaches and concrete slabs. A small pebble beach with a gradual entrance to the sea is about 5 minutes walk from the main building. We recommend water shoes. With extra charge it is possible to rent deck chairs and parasols (approx. 20-40 kn deck chairs / day).
Pets are allowed with prior notice and extra charge on the spot.

Jelsa on the island of Hvar can be reached by ferry from Split to the port of Stari Grad, which has international connections with Italy. The Old Town of Jelsa is about 10 km away. Or it is possible to use the ferry line from Drvenik to Sucuraj on the island of Hvar, the ride takes about 35 minutes while the ride on the route Stari Grad - Split takes about 120 minutes. Sucuraj is about 50 km away from Jelsa.
If you travel without a car, it is also possible to use the catamaran line Split - Bol (island of Brac) - Jelsa (island of Hvar) - the transport takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
