Lighthouse Lanterna Vir

Lighthouse Lanterna Vir with the official title "House of the old captains" (international category 4 + *) will be available from 15.05.2012. The monument of zero category, a former lighthouse, which is located 7 km from the center of Vir secluded in the pine forest, next to the extremely attractive natural sandy-rocky beach and boardwalk with its own mooring for small boats (max. depth 1,5 m). Guests can also rent a boat with or without a skipper. Interior and exterior will be decorated in a rustic traditional style with wooden furniture and leather chairs.

Lighthouse Lanterna Vir was built 1881st year on the west coast of the island of Vir, in the north entrance to the city harbor. It consists of an octagonal stone tower and a building that includes ground floor and first floor total area of ​​180m2. Power 12V DC building is derived from the solar panels, while the water supplied from their water tanks. The lighthouse was automated and incorporated into the remote control. On the lighthouse is no lighthouse crew. Although the windows facing the sea with dark windows, it is necessary to have lowered blinds at night so as not to interfere with maritime signaling (for more information about the rules of conduct during their stay at the lighthouse, please read the section Life lighthouse, house rules ....). Around the lighthouse was built a high wall which ensures complete privacy of the guests. Access to the sea to the other guests may not be prohibit, but given the distance from the lighthouse inhabited part of the island, such a random number of guests is negligible. The facility is also under video surveillance, which ensures the safety of guests. Pets are not allowed.

Lighthouse Lanterna Vir for 8 people consists of two floors each of which is 90 m2 large.
On the upper floor are four luxuriously decorated bedrooms, each room with private bathroom (shower / WC). Two large rooms have 21 m2, one bedroom has 17 m2, one bedroom has 14 m2. In two rooms there is a double bed, and in two rooms are 2 single beds. In each room there is a LCD TV (digital satellite channels).
The ground floor consists of luxuriously decorated living room, apperitive bar, kitchen + dining room (5.5 m2), digital satellite TV (LCD TV 130 cm), toilet and cloakroom. In extra room there is a sauna, whirlpool, outdoor grill and sun deck.
