This family house is situated in a quiet place near the streams and waterfalls with old mills and is the perfect place for those who want to relax from the noise of the city. Podgora is a small town located about 10 km south of Makarska. Through the town flows several sources of fresh water from the mountin Biokovo as well asthe healing source Klokun. In the past, people here are mainly engaged in fishing and agriculture, a fertile country today is mostly planted with olive trees and vineyards. Above the road there is the old part of town, the so-called upper Podgora, which in 1962 was destroyed in the earthquake, and now almost deserted and uninhabited. Podgora is a lively resort that offers a rich cultural program and entertainment to its guests who return each year.
